şimdiye kadar hiç bahsetmemiş olmam çok ilginç. benim en favori kitabım açık ara ile j.d. salinger'ın "çavdar tarlasında çocuklar"ıdır. şu anda nick hornby'nin bir kitabını okuyorum ve kitabın arkasında, yazarın diğer kitaplarıyla ilgili bilgi veren bölümde, salinger'ın kitaplarıyla ilgili eleştirilerinin de bulunduğu bir kitabı olduğunu öğrendim. (tek bir cümlede beş kez "kitap"ı kullanabilirim.) geç bir saatte evde yorgun argın oturuyor olmama rağmen üşenmeden çıkıp aldım. maalesef kısa bir bölümde bahsediyor ama çıktığıma değdi:

"... üç kitap da kısmen, kafası karışık genç bir amerikalı olmak hakkında yazılmış. bu tema, hiç kimsenin kendisine ait olduğunu iddia edemeyeceği kadar geniş gibi görünüyorsa da, salinger bir biçimde bunun telif haklarını almayı başarmış. bu konuda bir kitap yazıyorsanız sizi kitabınızın bir yerinde, üstü kapalı bir biçimde dahi olsa onun o noktaya sizden önce vardığını belirtmeye zorlayan birtakım yasalar var."
